Manager Duties:Looking for associate who works hard, learns fast, and is ready to lead a retail store in order to achieve sales and profit goals. Positively contribute to growth and development of team through training communication, recognition and support.

Customer Service / Sales:

  • Greets customers, determines needs and answers questions.

  • Suggests sell add-on items, participates in retail store and commercial sales activities in order to achieve sales and profit goals.

  • Identifies potential commercial customers.

  • Operates computer/cash register to complete sales transactions with accuracy.

  • Answers phones, ensures messages are relayed, and makes every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry.

  • Leads retail and commercial sales initiatives.

  • Prices and/or researches products and accessories for guests, accurately.

  • Educates the customers fully and provides as much information as available about their purchase options, and value adding accessories.

  • Completes all assigned duties in allotted time.

  • Completes sales reports as assigned.

Merchandising / Inventory:

  • Rotates, stocks, transfers, receives, organizes, and maintains inventory in all areas.

  • Manages loss prevention, advises management of any unusual activities, and address inventory issues immediately.

  • Installs batteries, performs tests and tech work.

  • Loads, unloads, and delivers or arranges delivery of product to customers or via third party delivery companies.

  • Organizes daily recovery of displays to achieve full store appearance.

  • Maintains retail shelf label pricing.

  • Follows proper recycling procedures for all materials.

  • Builds displays; sets up and takes down shelves and fixtures.

  • Prepares store for daily opening and closing.

  • Maintains physical facility safety and appearance including but not limited to: mowing lawn, removing snow, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain restroom cleanliness.

  • Follows all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

  • Follows all inventory best practices and complete inventory reports as assigned. Increases production and quality, limiting warranty work and customer returns, and constantly seeks to improve processes.

  • Business Necessity The needs of the employer may be dependent on responding to and anticipating rapidly changing external and internal demands in all aspects of how business is conducted. Therefore, it may become necessary to make modifications to how business is conducted and work is accomplished, with minimal or no advance notice to employees. Accordingly the employees must be capable of adapting, with minimal or no advanced notice, to changes in how business is conducted and work is accomplished, with no diminishment in work performance.

  • Safety and Security All employees are responsible for observing safety and security procedures as applicable and reporting potentially unsafe conditions to management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises up to 10 employees at the store location. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Manages and documents all HR related issues associated with subordinates.
