This position is the customer service representative for the Admissions and Records department.QUALIFICATIONS:1. Minimum of five years of increasingly responsible administrative and professional experience in a higher education organization with comprehensive understanding of and ability to administer complex budgets and college finances.2. Master's degree from an accredited institution.3. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to post-secondary educational institution's financial operations.4. Able to maintain a thorough knowledge of accounting, budget, and financial practices.5. Able to explain complex budget items to a wide audience.6. Possess well-developed self-awareness skills, communication and leadership skills.7. Ability to make effective oral and written presentations.8. Possesses highly developed conflict and resolution skills. Company has strict integrity and honesty standards.9. Experience with Workday Cloud-Based System; HCM, Financial and Payroll System preferred.10. Employer conducts background check and drug screen.JOB DUTIES:1. Duties include answering phone calls, greeting walk-in traffic, answering questions, reviewing admittanceforms and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy, aiding students and the college community regarding registration, general college information, and numerous other Admissions and records functions.2. The incumbent will also provide accurate information and guidance regarding WNC and NSHE policies and procedures.3. This position will process applications for admissions with attention to accuracy and thoroughness, name changes, address changes, high school authorizations and degree declarations, entering the data into Peoplesoft.4. This position is also responsible for managing and processing outgoing transcripts, placing holds on student records as needed, and maintaining student athletes files.
