Job Description

The Manager of Referrals acts as a liaison between the Brand and various affiliates and RBG brokerage offices. This position is responsible for managing and delivering effective communication to all parties throughout the life cycle of the referral. This role is extremely critical in the success of converting these leads while ensuring the highest level of service is delivered to our affiliates, agents and clients.

This position’s key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manages the global referral database and application. Works with Realogy application and design team and vendor with regards to resolving system issues and managing functionality and system upgrades.

  • Works with RBG managers and agents as well as RFG relocation directors and is the primary contact with Cartus.

  • Leads system user training initiatives. Designs training materials and execute training sessions.

  • Creates and leads referral strategy to achieve brand goals of broker, agent and client attraction, engagement and retention and to increase referral opportunities.

  • Whether it is a listing or buyer referral, receives and reviews all pertinent information and instructions regarding the client, geography, type of listing or desired listing and information to identify the appropriate servicing brokerage office and creates a profiles of the ideal agent to assist.

  • Reaches out to appropriate servicing brokerage office to verbally discuss client needs and share any specific instruction.

  • Ensures referrals are tracked.

  • Obtains regular status updates for each referral and provide the appropriate SLT member(s) with updates when necessary.

  • Monitors communication between referral and servicing brokerage offices and helps resolve issues when necessary. Escalates issues to appropriate leaders when necessary.

  • Provides analytics and presentations on referral trends and types.

  • Collaborates with the marketing team to create marketing strategies and materials to help promote referrals among SIR offices.

  • Liaise with Sotheby’s Auction on incoming RE referrals from Auction and on outgoing consignment referrals to Auction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in marketing, sales, business administration or equivalent.

  • Three or more years of experience in a customer-centric business environment. Proven track record of providing exceptional customer experiences.

  • Three or more years of experience in the Real Estate industry preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to work well under pressure with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels.

  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Creative problem-solving skills.

  • Language skills: Bi-Lingual to multi-lingual skills are a plus.
