Flanders Senior Account Representative in Elko, Nevada

Primary Purpose: Establish and maintain FLANDERS as a trusted partner with new and existing customers in heavy industry and mining. Care for customers by listening to their needs, offering innovative solutions, and serving them with excellence. Drive growth through strategic and tactical business planning, executive level relationships, and strategic customer alignment. * _Essential Functions:_ * Senior Account Representative * Develop a comprehensive knowledge of each service, product, and application in order to recognize quickly which can benefit each customer. Gain product knowledge through catalogs, sales literature, bulletins, sales meetings, continuing education, factory training, industry experiences, etc. * Develop strong business relationships with customers, including customer satisfaction for the FLANDERS All strategy as represented by the acronym PRISM – _P_roducts, _R_epair, _I_nnovation, _S_ales, _S_ervice, _S_upport, and _M_otors * Develop and maintain a highly respectable image of FLANDERS in the eyes of customers, vendors and competitors to become a trusted partner. * Meet or exceed annual sales goals established by executive management. * Actively grow the pipeline through the use of coordinated activities with commercial and marketing resources. * Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc. * Work directly with other FLANDERS units, customers, and suppliers to demonstrate skill in negotiation, building consensus, and achieving compromise. * Advise customers on sales information including identifying, communicating value, and implementing performance gap solutions. * Consult with management on forecast, sales, strategy planning and sales techniques. * Effectively execute each stage of the sales process. * Manage key customer accounts for FLANDERS. * Recognize the need and effectively utilize in-house technical experts to support the sale. * Interact face–to-face with customers and prospects on a consistent (70% to 75%) basis. _Requirements: _ * Education: * Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and sales experience. * *Experience: * * Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales, Product Management or Program Management in mining or heavy industrial fields. _ _ * *Other: * Strong desire to increase technical knowledge, learn about mechanical and electrical aspects of motors, and power generation. * Proven track record in qualifying and converting leads to sales with high percentage close rate. * Proven success in the sales life-cycle including prospecting, negotiation, overcoming objections, and closing the deal. * Proven experience meeting and exceeding established sales goals. * Experience selling technical or highly engineered products. * Working knowledge of CRM systems for pipeline and opportunity management * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. * Strategic and tactical business planning skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and co-workers. * Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present in one-to-one or group settings. * Strong listening skills. * Frequent travel including overnight required.
