The IT Asset Management group centrally manages all IT assets on a global basis for IGT to ensure accurate tracking and procurement of all software and IT hardware in the most cost-effective manner. In this role, you will monitor the company’s IT software license assets, computer hardware and technical service contracts. You work closely with internal departments and IT to understand their needs and serve as the IT point of contact for IT asset requests, purchasing needs, and license tracking.

Position Responsibilities:

· Clearly identifying all IT assets and maintaining an inventory of all company IT assets

  • Procuring the appropriate number of IT assets, including computers, so that all end-users have the appropriate tools to perform their job

  • Managing of IT assets based on job role and deploying where ITAM Team is located

  • Reallocating IT assets from stock on hand

  • Processing new hire tickets and providing IT assets for new hire

  • Ensuring the pick-up of IT assets assigned to termed employees

  • Disposal of IT assets that are end of life or broken (ITAD)

· Performing a physical inventory of IT assets

  • Collaborates closely with many departments to define licensing and asset needs and serves as the interface between the vendor and the business.

  • Involvement in annual hardware and software audits for the corporation to ensure license compliance

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

· Has strong understanding of software and hardware licensing and asset management

· Strong attention to detail, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills

· Well organized individual with excellent written and verbal communications skills

Preferred Qualifications

· Knowledge of software asset management solutions

· Able to administer a SAM (software asset management) solution

· Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)

· Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) certifications

Special requirements needed

Able to stand an eight hour shift
