Note: Due to the COVID-19 Emergency, this job will be temporarily worked from home according to the Work at Home Policy and Agreement requirements and will resume in the Las Vegas, NV location when transitioned back to the location and released from any state stay-at-home orders.

The Customer Care Specialist is accountable for effectively and efficiently manage a large volume of incoming calls, making outbound calls, processing emails, and/or responding via chat for 1 st Party customer care accounts. These accounts cover various lines of business. The Customer Care Specialist acts as a liaison, provides information, and resolves any issues or concerns that our clients might face with accuracy and efficiency. The goal is to ensure excellent customer service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction to customers.
Receive and respond to customer inquiries via email and/or chat
Make outbound calls as necessary to address and/or follow up on client inquiries/issues
Provide valid and accurate information to customers with the resources and tools provided
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies of Windham and their clients
Reinforce high customer service standards to maintain excellent customer satisfaction
Handle all methods of communication in a transparent manner.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Ability to escalate those calls that cannot be answered by FAQ’s (frequently asked questions)
Ability to organize information in a clear and concise manner
Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented aptitude
Strong communication / time management skills
Superior customer service skills for dealing with internal/external customers
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Bilingual, English/Spanish speaking a plus.
Knowledgeable in Excel and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of university Student Information System (Banner, PeopleSoft) a plus.
