It is the primary responsibility of the Digital Graphic Designer to conceive and design social media, digital and traditional print projects that promote client brand image in a high volume, fast paced entertainment environment.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

  • Develop, design and translate creative concepts into required multimedia design elements and/or traditional print.

  • Ensure concepts and designs adhere to original creative brief specifications, and are consistent with project and brand standards and objectives

  • Work closely with Directors and Managers for creative direction

  • Efficiently handle high-volume workload, and ensure all deadlines are met

  • Be an active participant in creative brainstorming sessions

  • Be knowledgeable of property brands and sub-brands within each property

  • Stay current with social and digital trends and innovations

  • Cultivate a creative and collaborative environment to inspire design

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital or Graphic Design or related field; or equivalent education and experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience in an agency, in-house or freelance.

  • Experience designing multiple brands in a high-volume environment.

  • Portfolio is required; must complete a technical and design test within a specific time frame.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Able to lead and mentor a team.

  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
