Over Night Door Attendant

Provide a consistently high degree of both friendliness and efficiency for all guests and visitors by parking guest vehicles in a safe and orderly manner.

  • Greet all arriving guests while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services.

  • Loads and unloads luggage from and to vehicles as needed.

  • Interact with taxi drivers in a professional manner.

  • Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve vehicle for their departure.

  • Open vehicle doors of all arriving guests/visitors and greet them with the proper salutation.

  • Open entrance/lobby doors for all arriving or visiting guests/visitors with the proper salutation.

  • Always assist driver with pulling out seat belt and hand buckle to driver to secure belt.

  • Always offer a cool water bottle to ‘valet cars’ for all passengers.

  • Always gently close doors on valet cars and taxi cabs by door handle only and never slam door close by its frame.

  • Accommodate guest requiring special assistance and aid.

  • Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays on the ramp.

  • Answer questions about registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions.

  • Give accurate directions to guests/visitors when necessary. Also provide information about the city of Las Vegas when possible.

  • Resolve guest concerns within the scope of authority, otherwise refers to the supervisor on duty.

  • Immediately report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or security for further investigation.

  • Respond to emergency situations when requested.

  • Guide guests/visitors into valet parking by greeting them at the entry point for valet parking.

  • Park or retrieve guests/visitors vehicles in a timely manner ensuring the utmost in vehicle safety.

  • Serve as ambassadors of the property by being the first point of guest contact.

  • Open doors of arriving guests/visitors and greet them with the proper salutation.

  • Give accurate directions to guests/visitors when necessary.

  • Write a legible claim check for the guest, noting any prior damage to the vehicle on the ticket.

  • Stand at the Valet Podium taking tickets from guests/visitors who are retrieving their vehicle.

  • Verify with guests if they are checking-in while inquiring if bell assistance is needed.

  • Maintain a positive attitude in extreme weather conditions of cold or very hot temperatures.

  • Performs all other job related duties as requested.

  • Write a legible claim check for the guest, noting any prior damage to the vehicle on the ticket.

  • Stand at the Valet Podium taking tickets from guests/visitors who are retrieving their vehicle.

  • Verify with guests if they are checking-in while inquiring if bell assistance is needed.

  • Maintain a positive attitude in extreme weather conditions of cold or very hot temperatures.

  • Performs all other job related duties as requested.

  • Adhere to hotel safety standards.

  • Answers 2 way radios and phones using radio and phone etiquette.

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.

  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Knowledge of the city, particularly tourist attractions.

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
