Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 2 years of relevant experienceor equivalent training and experience .

Ability to remember procedures, terminology, schedules, emergency response events, and other details.

Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
Department of Energy Q Clearance (position will be cleared to this level). Reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR Part 707.4, “Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at DOE Sites,” will be conducted. Applicant selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation, and subsequent reinvestigations, and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation, which may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination, may also be required. Reference 10 CFR Part 709, “Counterintelligence Evaluation Program.”
Eligibility Requirements – To obtain a clearance, an individual must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years of age. Reference DOE Order 472.2, “Personnel Security.”

The Remote Sensing Laboratory, located on Nellis Air Force Base, seeks a talented individual to support emergency response operations for National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) response assets.
Perform an array of tasks associated with the on-call duty rosters for all radiological response teams.
This will include a variety of complex tasks associated with compiling, distributing, maintaining, and archiving the on-call duty rosters.
Responsible for an established set of tasks related to building team rosters in the emergency response notification system.
Require execution of notifications, as required to satisfy weekly/monthly requirements and unplanned notifications in support of operations, exercises, trainings, and real-world events.
Assist, as required, with maintaining reports and official records associated with training requirements for response teams.
Must qualify as an emergency responder, and serve as a home team member; executing requirements in a variety of roles.
Perform related work and emerging requirements, as assigned by the section Supervisor.
Must possess excellent customer service skills, and have the ability to interface professionally, internal and external to the organization.
Maintain confidentiality and display a professional demeanor in daily activities.
