Copper Mountain Resort Food Expeditor / Food Runner in Las Vegas, Nevada
As a food expeditor/food runner you will consistently assure that all food orders are being prepared and cooked in a timely fashion, so that all orders for any table are ready and served at the same time. You will also ensure that all food is served as soon as it is ready and while its still hot!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to be efficient in the flow of orders from the servers to the kitchen.
Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct prioroity and any modifications.
Assisting in the final preparation of dishes.
Deliver orders to maintain fast service.
Transfer important information between the kitchen and the serving staff (e.g. when we run out of something in the kitchen or particular requests on a ticket)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Food Handler card
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry 50 yards.
Must be able to work in the standing position for up to 10 hours.
Must be able to work outside in temperatures below 32 degrees for up to 4 hours.
*Ski and Snowboard experience not required, but, recommended.
