  • Maintain food stations in the buffet.

  • Maintain freshness, rotation of product, and proper garnishes.

  • Make all food appear fresh; stir soups and sauces frequently to avoid film build-up.

  • Ensure all foods are within proper temperature range and record these temperatures.

  • Run food from kitchen to food stations.

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen.

  • Ensure all proper serving utensils are set up on the line.

  • Maintain proper food knowledge of every dish, be aware of all allergies and the ingredients associated with them and also educate the guests when necessary.

  • Interact with guests properly using the 4S Service Standards.

  • Maintain clean and neat work station and all proper paperwork.

  • Open and close stations as directed.

  • Perform all other job related duties as requested.

Required:

  • Ability to understand the importance of menu knowledge including allergies and knowing all ingredients per dish.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very high paced and stressful environment.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Preferred:

  • At least 1 year of large tray handling experience.

  • Previous Food Runner experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment.

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
