Copper Mountain Resort Front of House Supervisor / Bartender in Las Vegas, Nevada

Front of House Supervisor will efficiently run the operations of the FOH resturant during each shift. This includes supervising FOH staff, monitoring stock, cash handleing during each shift, and customer care. Prepares alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons, interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks. Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails. Assist with planning bar menu.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

A FOH supervisor/bartender will host a pre-shift meeting to inspect, inform, and motivate their FOH. Making sure that all of the FOH service is excellent, manuver and support staff throughout the shift to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of the restaurant. Resolve problems and provide quickly and always provide superior customer quality service. Ensure all servers close on time, end of day jobs are completed to high standards, staff are signed off prompltly, all FOH areas are checked and secured, and that the restaurant is in excellent order for the next day's service. Provide feedback during your shift to manager/director.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Front of House Supervisor/Bartender should have 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience of 5+ employees in similar environment

Preferred 1-2 years bartending experience Must be able to obtain and maintain a Food Handler and Alcohol Awarenss card

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50-lbs and carry 50 yards

  • Must be able to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours

  • Must be able to work outside in temperatures below 32 degrees for up to 4 hours

  • Ski and Snowboard experience not required, but, recommened
