POSITION SUMMARY: It is the primary responsibility of the Guest Services Ambassador to greet incoming guests, provide excellent customer service, and to create a safe and friendly environment for the guests. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.

  • Greet guests, visitors, and others with business at the hotel

  • Answer guests' questions about hotel amenities, restaurants, and entertainment

  • Direct guests to the area, such as restaurants, casino, showroom, and other amenities

  • Screen would-be entrants into the building

  • Monitor activities at entrances and lobbies

Other Specific Job Functions:

  • Communicating with bellman for luggage assistance, and other items to rooms of guests.

  • Assist with calling valet for guest vehicles pickup or drop-off.

  • Report suspicious or criminal activity to security and hotel management or front-desk supervisor.

  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and willingness to assist all guests whenever possible.

  • Answer property questions; provide accurate information regarding rooms, restaurants, casino events, promotions, and directions.

  • Contribute to a positive, empowering work environment by consistently performing assigned day-to-day responsibilities

  • Meet the demands of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multitask

  • Complete all duties in accordance with property standards and adhere to all company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property

  • Promote and sell all products and services available at the Plaza

  • Perform other job related duties as assigned

Position Requirements


  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms

  • At least one year previous Guest Service or Hotel experience is required

  • At least 6 months of guest service experience

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to:

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting

  • At least 2 years of previous experience working in a similar resort setting

  • Entry-level sales experience

  • Bilingual
