Cornerstone onDemand Internal Communications Coordinator - Remote (United States) in Las Vegas, Nevada

The Internal Communications Coordinator will support the overall global employee communication strategy, and partner with leaders and global teams to define and distribute Cornerstone’s messaging internally. This person is tasked with creating and executing employee communications initiatives that elevate the Cornerstone brand and advance the company’s overall business objectives.

This role is part of the broader Talent Enablement team, which oversees employee communications, change management, organizational effectiveness, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, talent assessments, and employee experience. Candidates should enjoy working closely with others and be comfortable working in a high-energy environment.

The ideal candidate is a clear and persuasive communicator with intellectual curiosity and a positive attitude, preferably with communications experience either in-house or at an agency. Candidates should have the ability to anticipate roadblocks and problem solve to keep initiatives moving forward. This role can be located in our Santa Monica Headquarters or work remotely but will be expected to work during Pacific time zone.

In this role you will…

  • Support the Internal Communications function as part of the greater Talent Enablement team. This will include but not be limited to support for the employee communications that enhance the employee experience of global Cornerstars. The focus of this role is on communications, but support may support other, communications-related Talent Enablement initiatives, as needed.

  • Promote a positive flow of information internally.

  • Help write, edit, review and ensure consistency of messaging across all internal platforms including intranet, newsletters, emails, all hands, etc. Review and edit essential internal communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, and tone of voice.

  • Help communicate Cornerstone’s culture and strategy to internal audiences.

  • Manage Workplace by Facebook to ensure content appropriateness. Monitor and respond to Glassdoor and other employee review sites.

  • Enhance existing processes and develop regular feedback channels to promote cross communication and ensure that messages are being delivered in a consistent and timely manner. Constantly monitor the results of the feedback to ensure continuous improvement in communications.

  • Maintain consideration for privacy and security obligations.

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, 4-year university or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in communications (internal communications, public relations or journalism experience a plus but not required)

  • Outstanding communicator with strong presentation, written and oral communications skills

  • Strong facilitation and collaboration skills, as well as analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with ability to distill complex, technical information into stories for a variety of audiences

  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high-volume work environment

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) required

Extra dose of awesome if you have…

  • Proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Experience in the technology and/or software industry

  • Change management experience
