Work with your team, providing training, guidance, support & supervision. Must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms and sound knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices and standards. Be strong leader and team motivator who is compassionate, approachable and flexible; with a proven track record of mentoring and people development. Develops testing strategy and master test plan to support testing objectives. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages the relationship with peer in IT and business for system(s) supported

  • Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of testing components

  • Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design

  • Accountable for Test Data Management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories, ID gaps, and owns test data provisioning tasks

  • Manage IT staff by supporting, training and coaching employees in communicating job expectations and apprising of their performance

  • Identify problematic areas and recommend strategic solutions in a timely manner

  • Keep detailed records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation for weekly & bi-weekly reporting for your team's progress

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; minimum of 5 years of testing and product quality experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Demonstrated ability to manage testing efforts for an application. Quality Certification, such as CSTE, CSQA, CMST, CSQE preferred.
