Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and study available documentation, both on-hand and online, related to intrusion detection sensor technologies and COTS equipment, within the scope of the customer mission.
Create/review test engineering documentation: Requirements Documents, Test Design and Plans, Test Information Sheets, Safety Packages, Test Cards, and Test Reports.
Plan, coordinate, and execute tests as a Test Director/Test Coordinator across multiple organizations, locations, and systems.
Reduce and analyze test data; determine and report on results.
Work closely with and direct as necessary, a small electronics team.
Occasional travel to vendors’ facilities to perform reviews and factory acceptance testing.
3 plus years required in the following areas:
Experience with mobile radar, EO/IR optics, and ground-based sensor systems.
Experience with hardware and software testing/evaluation.
Experience with battery and solar power technologies.
Experience with Electromagnetic interference and compatibility (EMI/EMC) testing.
Ability to provide integrated engineering support for design reviews, test planning working groups, test card preparation, disciplined test execution, and post-test analysis and reporting.
Work well in a team environment as well as independently and have above average verbal and written communication skills.
Position requires willingness and ability to accept changing and evolving roles and responsibilities in support of customer requirements and needs.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office software applications.
Experience/background with software programming
Knowledge of radar parameter measurement and spurious signals detection
Experience with directing ground tests and monitoring performance parameters
Experience with MATLAB and data analysis tools/aptitude to learn new software tools
- BS in technical field or equivalent
- Current Top-Secret clearance REQUIRED (SCI Eligibility desired)
