2020-2021 K/12 School Psychologist
School Psychology
School psychologists deliver school-based services intended to improve student performance, enhance educational success, and promote mental health interests of children and youth. Individual services include consultation with school personnel and parents, promoting collaborative problem-solving practices, providing direct interventions and short-term support (e.g., assistance with intervention and behavior plan development, counseling, selective screenings, staff training, crisis team membership), conducting psycho educational evaluations and providing general support for school improvement. School psychologists must meet Nevada endorsement standards for district employment.
