Job Description
Summary:Delaware Nation Industries is providing Network Support to all of the Indian Health Services facilities across the nation from here in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a direct hire/salary position with excellent benefits, and outstanding compensation including full medical, dental, 401K vacation and holiday pay.Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Candidate should have practical experience with the following technologies: Cisco Nexus/IOS switching platforms and Cisco routing platforms to also include Cisco firewalls.
Knowledge of: OSPF, BGP, Spanning-tree, Fabric Path, HSRP, VPN technologies.
Candidate will configure complex WAN/LAN technologies in support of enterprise class data centers.
Tasks include the installation, implementation, and troubleshooting of TCP/IP networks consisting of a diverse range of vendor implementations using a variety of network technologies.
Candidate will demonstrate a high level of expertise in resolving problems and troubleshooting network communications/infrastructures issues involving a variety of hardware/software and different protocols and platforms.
Candidate needs to be proficient in using tools and methods such as: advanced protocol analysis, system log review, event correlation, network management/performance tools, and dataflow mapping to diagnose and resolve network problems/incidents.
Perform network architecture/design, installation, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of core communications networks.
Ability to research, analyze and resolve problems in a large, complex enterprise WAN/LAN environment.
Identify communications requirements, security vulnerabilities, and compliance issues.
Candidate demonstrates high level of expertise preparing technical correspondence/illustrations/briefings.
Develop technical materials for senior leadership to include slides, memos, white papers, and standard operating procedures.
Communicates with the customer/user base regarding network issues/problems/solutions and leads/participates in numerous network engineering/customer/user teleconferences.
Configure and integrate network design standards and emerging technologies.
Directly contributes to organizational objectives to meet CSF’s, KPI’s and SLA’s.
Knowledge in increasingly complex and progressive experience in implementing, administering, performing tests and analyzing all elements of network systems. Required Qualifications:
Able to obtain a US Government Public Trust Clearance
CCNA required with a minimum of 4 years’ experience. A CCNP is preferred.
A minimum of 4 years’ experience support network infrastructure to deliver zero down time in large enterprise networks with over 400 circuits, 20,000 users, and 1000 network devices.
Experience working in an ITIL organization or holding a certification in ITIL Foundations is a plus.
Experience creating detailed physical and logical data center and site-level network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
