Outside Sales Representative
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing sales strategies and attracting new clients. He/she will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The Outside Sales Representative will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. Product responsibility will include the sale of industrial pumping equipment, blowers and accessories.
Outbound phone calls, emails, and networking events.
Responsible for generating leads by being out in the community, meeting face to face with companies to assessing their business needs.
Responsible for meeting with current clients to grow and enhance their experience.
Schedule future calls and action steps to keep prospects and clients in the sales pipeline.
Research accounts and focus on prospect s needs to ensure a successful business partnership is created.
Build a rapport with current and prospective clients to grow business and bring in new accounts.
Ensure product knowledge in order to give educated information on the types of services and products that would best meet client needs.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Proven outside sales experience
Track record of over-achieving quota
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Self motivated and driven
BA/BS degree preferred
