Wyndham Vacation Ownership is currently seeking a Manager of Yield Inventory Management who is responsible for tactical and strategic management of revenue controls for WVO rental division Extra Holidays. Responsibilities will include working directly with Yield Analyst, site general managers, and Sales and Marketing teams to ensure all strategic arrivals and profitability goals are achieved. They will oversee all processes and find efficiencies where opportunities exist, implement changes when necessary. This position will lead and influence associates across different levels supporting business units. This position will be responsible for acquiring and developing the appropriate talent for the team, enhance each team members’ skill set while addressing developmental opportunities and assign the appropriate resources to the right tasks in order to achieve desired results. Their team will be responsible for understanding and taking action on rental forecasting, while helping drive the success of the business by interpreting and providing information and analysis to help guide management and operational decision-making. This position will create and update budget and forecast deliverables, as well as project work dealing with system enhancements, advance yield and pricing strategy and other ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Acquires leads and develops team by being a mentor to direct reports, enhancing potential skills and addressing development opportunities. Provides timely and behaviorally specific feedback, aligns and mobilizes the organization with a set of common goals while maintaining an encouraging demeanor at moments of stress in a way that will positively influence others' attitudes.
Establish clear objectives for the team and directs team’s resources to ensure alignment to the organizational strategies and increasing customer profitability.
Identify pricing and yield strategy to execute and achieve goals of the Developer, HOA’s and Club’s.
Foster partnerships with alternative inventory consuming channels to effectively yield inventory for highest utilization and most profitable use.
Preparation of monthly forecast deliverables, management reporting and budget preparation.
Project planning on new property acquisitions including but not limited to rental performance projections and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and communication/leadership skills
Minimum of five years of Revenue Management, Yield Management, Pricing or Statistical Analysis experience in timeshare, hotel or travel industry
At least two years of supervisory experience required
