Diamond Resorts International Regional Marketing Trainer in Las Vegas, Nevada

_JOB SUMMARY _ The Regional Marketing Trainerperforms and implements daily training at local and regional levels within the Business Sales Units. Assists Sales and Marketing leadership in the standardization of training new hire marketing agents and managers. Provides resources in mentoring, and successfully facilitates the “Train the Trainer” critical path to success. _ _ _ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS_ * Works closely with National Director of Marketing Training, Marketing Leadership, Regional Business Unit SVP and DVP of Global Sales & Marketing Training, in order to establish and support the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all local, regional, and national marketing training. * Schedules, performs, and implements training at local and division level with focus on the first 90 days’ results. * Carries out specific duties according to the established SOPs, to include daily training sessions according to site needs, and scheduling and ensuring coverage of Regional Business Unit (RBU) trainings needs; coordinates site, regional, or RBU priority trainings as needed. * Develops and manages new special projects as assigned by National Director of Marketing Training, VP of Training, DVP Global Sales and Marketing Training and Development, or Business Unit SVP. * Develops and monitors a training library and updated Marketing training curriculum. * Develops individual and/or group training in alignment of the Diamond Resorts presentation. * Ensures that all technology devices are used properly and are supplied for most effective training. * Improves current marketing processes through mentoring of site’s Marketing Managers. * Performs specific projects to assist Business Unit Director of Marketing Training, VPs, and Senior VP of Sales & Marketing, and Marketing leadership. * Maintains accurate data on all new trainees, class participants graduation success rate (GSR), test scores, to include detailed results from tours and VPG performances for first 30-60-90 days, and overall retention at the end of six months. * Builds strong relationships with all Sales, Marketing, and Hospitality leaders. * Actively books tours when not in classroom. * Trains and assists Marketing leaders at the site and regional level when requested. * Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned. * Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures. * Performs other related duties as assigned.

_EDUCATION_ * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.

_EXPERIENCE_ * A minimum two (2) years of experience in the marketing field required. * No supervisory experience required.

_SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES_ * This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.

_LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS_ * This position does not require licenses or certifications. _ _ _SKILLS & ABILITIES_ This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices. Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.

Specific skills and abilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex body language; and respond pro-actively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. * Must be an effective communicator, with excellent oral and written skills. * Highly responsive via email communications. * Ability to mentor in the field. * Extremely strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook, with emphasis on Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and Power Point presentations. * Must be able to maneuver through the Company’s corporate intranet, and other industry- related websites. * Computer proficiency on laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and desktops. * Understands how to develop and implement business strategies to drive marketing results. * Ability to interpret and create policies, procedures, and training manuals. * Excellent customer service skills. * Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. * Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes. * Recognizes an emergency situation and takes appropriate action. * Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation. * Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes. * Competent in public speaking. * Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions. * Advanced math skills; ability to work with mathematical concepts that are critical to financial analysis.
