Direct Sales Agent
Work location: Jersey City, NJ, Morristown, NJ, Wallingford, CT, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Las Vegas, NV, Lousvile, KY, Mason, OH, Minneapolis, MN, St. Louis, MO, Virginia Beach, VA, or ant other Anthem location throughout the United States
Responsible for selling Individual or Senior (Medicare BU) services telephonically and providing a high level of customer service.
Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
Ensures successful enrollment of new members.
Ensures individual sales goals are met.
Sell company services through outbound calls in a professional and consultative manner.
Provides thorough and effective customer service.
Provides members with oral and written information as well as education on the services offered to them.
Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of all company services.
Optimizes closing opportunities utilizing all sales tools and skills available.
Completes accurate documentation, maintains records and updates database with documentation of all activities during the sales cycle.
Troubleshoot issues with the activation team.
Studies competitive services and related industry issues and maintains a personal awareness of competitive advantages and disadvantages.
Be the driving force in helping our members maximize value from their healthcare plans while helping them enhance their pharmacy experience.
Requires a high school diploma; 2 years of sales experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
