MGM Resorts International Uniform Attendant (OC) (Park MGM) in Las Vegas, Nevada

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Uniform Attendant, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist guest with all uniform related needs and provide excellent customer service consistent with the company and property’s core service standards and brand attributes
Maintain all uniform inventory including, but not limited to: assigned garments, garments going to and from the cleaners, and standing inventory
Work with uniform inventory software to maintain employee and inventory records, including applying barcodes/RFID chips and name labels
Operate conveyor system, heat-seal, pressing equipment, and other uniform related machinery including commercial washing machines and steam irons where applicable
Assist with receiving new uniform inventory and discarding unusable items
Adhere to all Health Department, OSHA, sanitations, and safety regulations to include chemical usage for spotting
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Performs other job-related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- No minimum requirements
PREFERRED:
High school diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of experience in a similar position/environment
Knowledgeable with Invotech System
Experience with AAA/ Mobile/ Forbes guest service standards in a hotel/resort setting
