Bowhead Logistics Solutions is looking for five (5) Remotely Piloted Aircraft Sensor Operators to support the 556 Test and Evaluation Squadron and Det 4, 53 Test Management Group located at Nellis Air Force Base and Creech AFB, Nevada.


A. Provide drafting and support for test plans, Concept of Test Briefings (COTB), Operational Risk Management (ORM), Combined Readiness Reviews (CRR), Flight Readiness Reviews (FRR), Test Execution Brief (TEB,) test execution run cards, fielding recommendations,

data collection/analysis/archiving, report writing, tactics writing (bulletins and white papers), aircrew training and products, maintenance training and products, support to Software Configuration Control Boards (SCCB), and other requirements as requested

by the government. All products will be drafted in accordance with (IAW) requirements and timelines set forth in the 53rd Wing Test Team Handbook and the standard operating procedures of the 556 TES and DET 4.

B. Operate the MQ-9, or other RPA as required, associated GCS, sensor(s), and SOC components. All aircrew positions shall maintain mission specific qualifications. Contractor evaluations shall be administered by the Governments IAW AFI 11-202. The contractor

shall maintain currency and proficiency requirements as directed by AFI 11-202 V1, MDS Vol 1, and MAJCOM published Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) Tasking Messages.

C. Conduct mission events and collect data IAW Government approved program test plans, schedules, procedures, and/or annexes.

D. Provide engineering and technical support to analyze OT&E data, components, and test planning. Support shall include development of objectives, test matrices, measures of performance, measures of effectiveness and effectiveness criteria. Additionally, Design

of Experiment shall be applied to the maximum extent possible as prescribed by 53 WG guidance.



a. FAA Class II Medical (must be renewed annually to comply with AFI)

b. RPA or manned A/C combat experience and/or weapons delivery experience

c. Associate’s Degree (or equiv)

d. 1,250 hrs total Multispectral Targeting System payload (or equivalent) operating time (may include RPA and/or manned aircraft time)

e. 750 hrs MQ-9 flying time

f. Current and qualified MQ-9 LR SO with current evaluation

g. Current and qualified MQ-9 instructor SO with current evaluation

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently possess and be able to maintain a security clearance at the TOP SECRET/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for TOP SECRET/SCI clearance at this location.
