UNIT SECURITY MANAGER (TESRPA-18-1589-W):

Bowhead Logistics Solutions is looking for one (1) Unit Security Manager to support the 556 Test and Evaluation Squadron and Det 4, 53 Test Management Group located at Nellis Air Force Base and Creech AFB, Nevada.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

a. The Unit Security Manager (USM) will establish and manage the Information Security Program within the unit. The USM develops and updates unit security operating instructions.

b. Advise the unit commander on security issues pertaining to the unit.

c. Attendssecurity manager meetings.

d. Update and remind personnel of security policies and procedures.

e. Overseesthe unit’s security self-inspection program.

f. Reportssecurity incidents immediately and assists the unit commander in monitoring the security incident.

g. Will not conduct security incident inquiries but will assist the appointed investigator.

h. Participates in security education training as defined by AFI 31-501.

i. Managesthe JPAS within their organization.

j. Inprocess and outprocess all personnel.

k. Monitor and act on all system notifications.

l. Supervise the operation of the special security office and administers the SCI security program to include SCI security oversight for other SCIFs under the organization's security cognizance.

m. Properly account for controls, transmits, transports, packages, and safeguards SCI.

n. Provide for the destruction of SCI by authorized means and in accordance with this Manual and DD Form 254, as appropriate.

o. Disseminate SCI only to persons authorized access to the material and having an established need to know.

p. Conduct or otherwise manage SCI personnel, information, physical and technical security (e.g. TEMPEST and TSCM) actions and procedures in accordance with this manual.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

a. TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for SCI

b. Special Access Program (SAP) eligible

c. Minimum of five (5) years working in/with the military and three (3) years DOD security program experience and knowledge of SCIF access/requirements.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently possess and be able to maintain a security clearance at the TOP SECRET/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for TOP SECRET/SCI clearance at this location.

Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification. In addition, the applicant must pass an in-house, online, driving
