An individual contributor, responsible for processing and analyzing financial transactions related to various revenue streams. Position is primarily responsible for Wide Area Progressing (WAP) invoicing, preparation of standard and recurring journal entries utilizing appropriate accounting classifications and assigning entries to proper accounts; performs account reconciliations; evaluates and performs internal control procedures to ensure Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required as this Accountant provides highly detailed analyses and reporting.The successful candidate will develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers.

Analyze and process financial transactions and information for assigned internal clients/business processes. Prepare standard and recurring journal entries utilizing appropriate accounting classifications and assigning entries to proper accounts. Maintain, analyze and reconcile standard and recurring general ledger accounts. Analyze and interpret technical accounting journals, compliance regulations and legal documents. Reconcile accounts and prepare standard and recurring financial. Prepare account reconciliation processes. Assist in the interpretation of financial statements and accounting data and analyze reports and documents. Support the implementation, maintenance and upgrades of accounting systems. Assist in the documentation of accounting procedures as well as gathering financial data and information for audits as needed.

First Year Goals

Selected candidate will gain experience in various aspects of IGT’s recurring revenue products and gain valuable experience leading to potential for growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Accounting degree required, equivalent experience considered

Strong PC experience with emphasis on spreadsheet applications

Basic knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures, gaming regulations

Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic and high-pressured environment

Must be detail oriented, team player, self-motivated, and have strong organizational skills

Special requirements needed

Must be at least 21 years of age

Able to obtain a Gaming License

Pass a background check

Credit check required

Must be at least 18 years of age
