Oracle ADA Compliance Program/Project Manager 4 in Reno, Nevada

Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically seven years of project management, product design or related experience needed. Minimum Qualification BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. 8 years’ experience as a Technical Program Manager or Product Manager working in a cross-functional software development environment, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of software development processes and best practices. Experience managing and overseeing multiple on-going initiatives simultaneously. Cross-functional communication and collaboration experience. Knowledge with project and issue / defect tracking systemsIn depth knowledge of W3C WCAG 2.1 A/AA Understanding and usage of Assistive Technology (JAWS, VoiceOver…) Web Accessibility Testing experience Knowledge and practical usage Accessibility Testing Tools Looking for a technical program manager that will own the accessibility of Oracle’s public website offerings. This is working the offerings on building a roadmap to address accessibility criteria based on the W3C WCAG 2.1, distilling coding best practices, identify training needs and testing tools/resources. _Responsibilities_ · Own the accessibility roadmap for all of Oracle’s public offerings · Understand product requirements, technical challenges, business needs, and develop a plan for delivering features that meet the requirements. · Engage with cross-functional teams to identify risks/issues, constraints, dependencies, and to deliver accessible solutions · Manage communication with engineering, product, legal, and marketing teams.
