Description:

Description We are looking for a Sales Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the sales team. The Sales Administrative Assistant involves having key administrative roles in multiple company departments as well as assisting in daily office needs

Essential Duties • Provide clerical and general administrative support to the sales team (reviewing quotes, logging communication in CRM, responding to and routing inbound sales inquiries, etc.) • Responsible for various administrative duties including compiling sales data, maintaining calendars, scheduling virtual meetings, and taking meeting minutes • General office duties such as ordering office supplies, filing and archiving • Create PowerPoint presentations, agendas and organize all logistics for sales activities (trade shows, sales trips, etc.) • Coordinate incoming and outgoing courier and mail shipments • Assist with developing and maintaining company's web presence • Front desk responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering the telephone, taking clear and concise information, routing calls to appropriate departments • Cross-training to provide some administrative support to the accounting, project management and purchasing departments • Identify opportunities to support the sales and marketing team • Organize company events such as holiday parties, corporate luncheons, and special celebrations

Qualifications & Required Skills • High school diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred • 5+ years of experience in administrative support positions • Strong computer skills with ability to create spreadsheets, graphs, charts and presentations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • The ideal candidate will have experience working for an international company • Effective spoken and written communication skills (Spanish is a plus!) • Proven ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team-based environment • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities • Ability to multitask while paying strict attention to details • Eagerness to take on any task required to help BDI provide successful delivery of our products
