The Aero Pricing Manager will partner with the Commercial, Region, Marketing and Product Line teams to identify and deliver high-priority enablers to drive value-based deal pricing. In this role, you will build global strategic pricing capability for Aero portfolio to drive increased market share and operating profit for Power Services.
As the Aero Pricing Manager, you will:
Maintain accurate and complete Aero opportunities deal pricing data, and provide actionable trend analysis across Aero pricing for all contract types
Identify as-is pricing data / tools / processes and create to-be processes to drive continuous improvement in pricing effectiveness
Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams to understand the influence of external factors and forecast region pricing trends based on evolving market conditions
Identify deal-specific value drivers by customer segment and develop region-specific pricing guidelines for all Aero opportunities, driven by customer value
Partner with Competitive Intelligence team to drive completion and data capture on all Win-Loss analysis globally
Conduct pricing analysis, such as price / volume and elasticity analysis, win / loss analysis, and segmentation analysis
Understand historical trends, productivity changes, list price changes, current market dynamics and competition to develop and maintain pricing guidelines and provide specific pricing recommendations to the regional commercial team and segment leaders to increase Aero market share
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience)
Minimum of 3 years of experience within the Power industry in a pricing, finance, commercial operations, sourcing or risk function
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited university or college
Demonstrated skill to assess financial impact of business actions and recommend strategy
Demonstrated success working on a highly matrixed, cross- functional, global team
Technical background with a strong commercial mindset
Working knowledge of Aero portfolio and systems
Leadership / development program graduate
Knowledge of modeling tools and techniques
Experienced Excel and Tableau user
Current knowledge of the industry
Familiarity with SFDC
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Driven change agent with a bias for action
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to lead by influence
