Fiserv Application Specialist, Advisory in Reno, Nevada

Position Description

What does a great Application Specialist do? We are looking to expand our support model and transition to a 24x7 model that will require additional onshore and offshore resources. We are looking for someone with strong technical abilities capable of messaging technical information in a way that is easy to understand, as well as, able to develop positive client relationships. This is a critical role in the organization with significant customer interaction.to deliver client application support, as well as, serve as mentor/point of contact to newer and offshore associates. This is a challenging but rewarding position with growth opportunities across the Fiserv footprint.

This position plays a key role in client management within the Digital Lending and Origination team. The DLO team is focused on delivering comprehensive solutions to the Mortgage Industry and providing a high level of support for those solutions.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

  • OnBase software support/technical client services related experience

  • Experience with one of the following Hyland modules:

  • Unity scripting

  • Workview

  • Workflow

  • Strong analytical problem solving ability

  • Ability to communicate at both technical and end-user levels.

  • Experience with Web and Client server application support and general operating system.

  • Exposure to database related issues/resolutions

  • Must be able to make decisions and resolve problems using experience and professional judgment with little supervision.

  • Any of the following will be considered a plus:

  • Relational database administration experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and above

  • Current Microsoft certification (MCDBA)

  • Other Microsoft certifications will also be considered.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

This position is 2nd shift (10pm – 6am CST) but the 120-day training period will be conducted during first shift.
