Oracle Cloud Partner Alliance Consultant - Eastern or Central Time Zone in Reno, Nevada
Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.
Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 8 years of related experience with a secondary education in Marketing or a related field.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Cloud Partner Alliance Consultant
North America Technical Division Alliances & Channels (A and C)
LOCATION: Eastern or Central Time Zone

Areas of Responsibilities:
Technical Deal Support: Our goal is to drive consumption of the Oracle Cloud! We help our partners achieve that from the very first sales presentation through architecture review and growing production customers.
Partner Enablement: Work with the A and C Partner Managers to develop, execute and track a development plan for a list of focus Partners. Track partner development and growth in areas like expertise, personnel development and practice enablement.
Collaboration. Effectively communicate top partner’s expertise and skillset to Oracle engineering, product and partner teams. Align top partners to customer expertise requests.
Broad Based Partner Enablement: Increase the overall capacity of the channel through continued broad based Partner Enablement. Work with the product and enablement teams on live trainings, partner casts and products updates.
Curate, expose and promote partners based on workload expertise
Represent a wide array of cloud based solutions in IaaS and PaaS (Analytics, DBaaS, Integration, etc.).
Establish data driven criteria standards for partners (certs, expertise, best practices, etc.)
Align top partners to sales coordinating with Channel Manager and Sales Engineering
Enablement plan development and execution
Assess corporate enablement offerings and promote to partners
Identify gaps and develop enablement programs to address
Collaborate with North America Technical Division - Alliances & Channels on strategy
Continually assess market and partner needs leading to new programs
Subject Matter Expertise
Be proficient in and be perceived as a subject matter in key Oracle Cloud solutions. Support your partners, their customers and extend partner teams in that technology.
Experienced product specialist in key Oracle Cloud Solutions (IaaS, PaaS).
Ability to formulate and execute partner development plans.
Exceptional virtual team leadership skills
Strong end customer sales and technical skills
5 years in IT / technical industry, preferably in channels or sales related roles
Technical Certification in cloud solutions preferred (associate or higher)
