Machine Calibration TechnicianBusiness Entity:iHamilton CompanyLocation:iReno, NViJob DescriptionHamilton Company is looking for a Calibration Technician who will be under the supervision of the Manufacturing Superintendent, the Calibration Inspector is responsible for calibrating and repairing all mechanical precision measuring equipment in the Manufacturing Departments at Hamilton Company.Other responsibilities may include:Inventory, identify and catalog all precision measuring equipmentSet frequency intervals for calibrating equipmentPerform in-house calibration, cleaning and repairMaintain traceability of standards to NISTMaintain calibration documentation (recall file, history cards, computer records)Coordinate sub-contracted calibration of Electronics and Specialty equipment to NIST traceable calibration servicesAccountable for regular and consistent attendanceAll other duties as assigned.iQualificationsExert status in dimensional measurement capabilitiesExpert status in reading blueprintsMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as required to interface with other departments and company personnel in a service function.Position requires exerting up 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objectsPosition involves sitting most of the timeiEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious calibration experience in NIST traceable operationExperienced in MILITARY/NATIONAL STANDARDS relating to calibrationiCompany DescriptionHamilton Company is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of manual, semi-automated and robotic products for precision fluid measuring.
