TESSCO Technologies Territory Account Manager in Reno, Nevada

We are looking forTerritory Account Managers for our Value Added Resellersteam where you will be asked to proactively sell TESSCO products to customers via telephone, email, and social media in order to build, manage, and grow a portfolio of accounts. This is a great opportunity to transition into a Sales role. We have locations in Timonium, Maryland, Reno, Nevada, and San Antonio, Texas.


  • Execute a sales strategy to identify prospective customers, opportunities, and leads, focusing especially on inactive accounts

  • Prospect these accounts to discover why they stopped purchasing from TESSCO, address their concerns, and make a compelling case to win back their business

  • Repeatedly contact unresponsive customers to generate of a meaningful conversation

  • Grow customer accounts into regular, total source buyers

  • Respond to customer inquiries and offer guidance on products, shipping, contracts, and financing

  • Gain customer trust with excellent service and follow up

  • Build a book of business in excess of 200 accounts

  • Meet, exceed, growth quotas


  • Entry-Level position within field. 1-3 years of customer service or sales support experience

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience

  • Confidence to address objections and push forward after experiencing rejection

  • Salesforce.com experience, a plus

  • Articulate, persuasive and influential communicator

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point

  • Ability to plan and manage time and priorities effectively
