EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Requires a BA/BS in Related Field.
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.
  • Billing Coordinator 1-2 years of Accounts Receivable Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Excellent communication and business writing skills
  • Must be detail oriented & analytical
  • Ability to be flexible and work in fast paced environment

Preferred

  • Billing experience in Aerospace,_DOD Industry preferred
  • DOD, FAR, DFARS, iRAPT, WAWF
  • Good working knowledge of contract documents
  • Project-based billing experience
  • Milestone, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, Time & Materials

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Prepares, processes, and submits invoices and credit memos according to contract type and billing terms per the Billing System Procedures and Desk Instructions
  • Prepares and maintains billing matrix for assigned programs according to contract terms
  • Tracks Liquidation Schedules and prepares Liquidating Invoices for assigned contracts
  • Identifies and prepares interim billings on contracts prior to cancelation of funds and/or contractual modifications to de-obligate funds
  • Performs billing reconciliations and postings
  • Performs cash collection/identification duties
  • Reviews and responds to monthly Program Reporting Requests (CDRL's) for assigned programs
  • Works closely with Program Support, Contracts and Program Teams in order to ensure billings can be completed on assigned programs
  • Maintains provisional billing rates and ACRN billings for assigned programs according to contract terms
  • Maintains A/R repository for all completed invoices
  • Works with Contracts and Program Management Teams to reconcile past due accounts
  • Tracks A/R Aging and Unbilled and Reconciles to G/L for assigned contracts
  • Prepares A/R and Unbilled reports for assigned contracts
  • Tracks fee retention on assigned CPFF contracts
  • Tracks Contract Closeout and processes Gate 15's for assigned contracts

COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides audit support for assigned contracts

Provides support to and complies with financial processes, schedules and documented procedures

Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations (internal and external)

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs to obtain U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
