Title: On-Site Construction Manager

Location: Yerrington & Wellington, Nevada

Classification: Limited Appointment Employee

Start Date: Mid-September/October

We are looking for an experienced, On-Site Construction Manager to help us deliver critical projects in Yerrington and Wellington, NV. This is a Limited Appointment to begin after Januayr 1, 2021 and may extend through 3rd quarter 2021. The ideal On-Site Construction Manager thrives in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multitasking with considerable detail orientation. We are looking for a reliable Construction Manager to implement on construction projects and oversee their progress on a daily basis. You will be responsible for oversight on the project on behalf of the Owner. Additional responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion

  • Review the project schedule deliverables and estimates to ensure adherence to overall schedule and budget

  • Review the work progress on a daily basis

  • Prepare daily reports and monthly reports to the Owner pertaining to job status

  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks

  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Skills

  • Proven working experience in construction management

  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods

  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process

  • Familiarity with construction management software packages

  • Ability to plan and see the “big picture”

  • Competent in conflict and crisis management

  • Leadership and human resources management skills

  • Excellent time and project management skills

  • BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field or similar relevant experience

Experience

  • 10+ years of construction superintendence or construction project management
